Sammy has 32 years’ experience on stage with numerous artist, some being inventers of Louisiana Music, others just being great musicians. ‘With all of the years I’ve been involved in the music business, I consider this band the ultimate of all bands. Louisiana Zydeco music is about blending, Soul, Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues and a tad bit Country. In this band we have all that plus I’ve built my music career in the BIG EASY.’
Debra Naquin - ORGAN
SWEET, BUT MONSTEROUS ON HER SOLO’S, from Jackson Mississippi where you can hear the Blues nightly, her energy and vocals are a must have in this band. Performing on stage for 20 plus years, with most of her career being in the BIG EASY, she adds a feeling to the music that no other can duplicate.
Troy Billiot - BASS GUITAR
THE BIG MAN, 33 years of service in the Swamp Pop Field, playing in back up bands for all the greats, traveling in America and touring overseas, this sound my friend you can only get from growing up in South Louisiana. Adding all the Rock and Roll bands he has performed with and now playing Zydeco for the past 8 years, a great addition to the BIG EASY ZYDECO BAND.
Chris Fruge’ - DRUMMER
A FANTASTIC young artist from Lafayette, Louisiana with as much experience on the stage as all of us, has all the power and energy you could ever want in a drummer. Touring America including Alaska with Country Artist and Rock Artist and yes, you guessed it, Zydeco Bands, this drummer drives this band like a Freight Train.
Danny T. - GUITAR
Wild, CRAZY, and FUNKY he is. Adding some of the best sounds to raise the people out of their chairs, this guitar player is fantastic for the BIG EASY ZYDECO. Coming from the 80’s Rock era into the funky swamp scene, this guy is a must see must hear artist.
Alex McDonald - RUBBOARD
PHENOMINAL musician is what describes this guy. I met him many years ago when he was young. Years later; he’s a monster on the rubboard. When you see him play you will understand. He cannot stay still. Truly you will agree he is the most energetic artist on the stage. Growing up in the BIG EASY, he is the finishing touches to the wildest sound you will ever encounter coming from a live stage. |
